AI Summary Prioritization

The AI Summary & Prioritization feature gives you an AI-generated overview of your organization's security posture, along with prioritized action items. It's available on the Organization Dashboard for users on the Growth or Enterprise subscription tier.

How It Works

When you open the AI Summary panel, Ryft collects data from every section of your Organization Dashboard — security score, hygiene grade, vulnerability breakdown, open ports, latest findings, certificate inventory, attack surface changes, and asset summary. This data is processed by an AI model that produces a condensed summary and a ranked list of items to address, ordered by severity and urgency.

Summaries are saved automatically, so the next time you open the panel you'll see your most recent summary instantly without waiting for regeneration.

Using the Feature

Opening the Panel

Look for the sparkle icon button next to your organization name at the top of the Organization Dashboard. Click it to open the AI Summary panel on the right side of the screen. Click the button again (or the close button inside the panel) to dismiss it.

Reading the Summary

The panel displays:

• Overall Risk Level — A color-coded badge showing your organization's overall risk (critical, high, medium, or low).

• Summary — A condensed overview of your security posture across all monitored assets.

• Prioritized Items — A ranked list of action items, each showing a severity level, urgency indicator, description, and a recommended next step.

Navigating to Dashboard Sections

Each prioritized item is clickable. Clicking an item closes the panel and scrolls you to the relevant section of the Organization Dashboard, briefly highlighting it so you can find it quickly.

Re-running the Summary

Click the Re-run button at the bottom of the panel to generate a fresh summary based on your latest dashboard data. The button is disabled while generation is in progress. The new summary replaces the previous one.

Exporting and Copying

• Export — Click the export button to download the summary as a Markdown file.

• Copy — Click the copy button to copy the summary text to your clipboard. A confirmation message appears when the copy is complete.

Subscription Requirements

AI Summary & Prioritization is available on the Growth and Enterprise tiers. The sparkle button is visible to all users, but if your tier doesn't include this feature, clicking it will show an upgrade prompt with a link to the Pricing page.

Data Security

Ryft takes your data privacy seriously. Here's how the AI Summary feature protects your information:

• Sensitive data redaction — Before any data is sent to the AI model, Ryft automatically strips out domain names, IP addresses, URLs, email addresses, API keys, and other personally identifiable information. The AI only sees anonymized, structural data (severity counts, scores, categories) — never your actual assets or credentials.

• No PII sent to OpenAI — The redaction step ensures that no personally identifiable information leaves the platform. Domain names are replaced with generic labels (e.g., "Domain-1"), and all other sensitive patterns are replaced with redacted placeholders.

• Organization data isolation — You can only generate and view summaries for organizations you belong to. Every request is verified against your organization membership before any data is accessed or processed.
